Interested in birds and the places they live?
The Bear Creek Wildlife Sanctuary produces a newsletter that tells you all about the birds currently at the sanctuary, what habitats they are using while they are at the sanctuary, and how we manage each habitat to maintain highly productive migratory habitats year after year.
Are birds not quite your thing?
A lot of our readers are more interested in restoring New England landscapes than learning about the birds that live there. Around the office, we can tend to feel the same way. Someone always seems to be having these types of on again, off again love affairs with birds, fish, and salamanders. They are an occupational hazard.
We suggest you still try out the newsletter. It's free, and when the birding is slow, we slip in easy to understand guides for establishing and managing indigenous New England landscapes. How to maintain their trajectories in the face of a changing climate, increasing productivity, and controlled successional progression are just a few of the many topics we cover.
It is easy to subscribe. Just click on the subscription button on the right, or text bearcreek to #22828 If the newsletter turns out not to be for you, you can always unsubscribe.
